Evidence Based Practices
ABA Therapy, or Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, is a treatment approach commonly used for individuals, particularly children, with developmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It focuses on understanding and improving behaviors through a scientific approach.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a scientifically validated approach designed to address behavioral challenges, particularly for individuals on the autism spectrum. Here’s a brief overview of how it works in both school and home settings
Our home and community services include 1:1 direct therapy in the natural environment. Therapy takes place in the home, in the supermarket or wherever the learner and family will benefit.
ABA therapy can occur in a general or special education classroom. In this environment, focus is placed on success and independence in the academic setting alongside building positive relationships with their peers.
Our social skills program places emphasis on developing friendships, responding do social overtures, and demonstrating social comprehension for successful social integration and meaningful relationships.
Early intervention for autism refers to therapeutic services and supports provided to children as early as possible after a diagnosis or when developmental delays are noticed.
Parent training for autism involves equipping parents with the skills and strategies to support their child’s development and manage behaviors associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
ABA services may be provided through the use of technology. Telehealth ABA provides you with real time training, consultation and services as an alternative to in-person services.
ABD provides supervision to individuals seeking BCBA and BCaBA certification, and ongoing supervision to RBTs and BCaBAs. Supervision includes indirect training and hands-on experience to ensure maximum outcomes
ABA focuses on small aspects of behavior, meeting the learner at their level while building larger more significant changes in functioning and independence. ABA can be used to reduce interfering or challenging behaviors and provide alternative behaviors that are more functional. We strive to provide:
